Description
High accuracy measurements
The sensor uses microwave radar technology to provide accurate and reliable water level measurements under any weather condition. This technology is not affected by temperature changes, wind or rain, and neither by fog or dew conditions, unlike sensors that use ultrasonic technology.
The sensor can be configured to perform a digital filtering and averaging of the measurements according to the specific user requirements. It can be connected to any conventional datalogger to perform the data storage and its subsequent downloading and monitoring on a computer. Its low power consumption allows to use it in installations powered by solar panels.
Compact, robust and versatile
The instrument features a compact design with no moving parts, and is entirely made of anodized aluminium to ensure high resistance in marine environments. Additionally, it requires virtually no maintenance since it is not directly exposed to water unlike submerged sensors.
It is ideal for all kind of hydrological and early warning applications in rivers, lakes, reservoirs, dams, ports, etc.
