Description
High accuracy measurements
The wave and tide station uses microwave radar technology to provide accurate and reliable sea state measurements under any weather condition. This technology is not affected by temperature changes, wind or rain, and neither by fog or dew conditions, unlike sensors that use ultrasonic technology.
The station features a high capacity datalogger and can be configured to perform a digital filtering and averaging of the measurements according to the specific user requirements. The sea state data can be accessed in real time both locally and remotely, as it can be sent to the Internet for monitoring from any location and device.
Included measurements
- Significant wave height.
- Maximum wave height.
- Wave period.
- Peak wave period.
- Sea level.
Additional measurements
- Weather conditions.
- Water quality.
Autonomous operation
The station features a high performance solar power system for fully autonomous operation.
Robust and durable construction
The station features a robust and durable construction, and is entirely made of corrosion resistant materials to ensure high resistance in marine environments. Additionally, it requires virtually no maintenance since it is not directly exposed to seawater unlike submerged sensors.
Its high performance makes it ideal for all kind of security and control applications in ports, offshore platforms, helidecks on floating structures, etc.
