Description
High accuracy measurements
The sensor measures wave height, period and direction with high accuracy and reliability by means of an inertial measurement unit (IMU) with 9 degrees of freedom and an integrated digital compass.
The sensor can be configured to perform an advanced processing of the measurements according to the specific user requirements. The wave data can be obtained in real time thanks to the different communication options available. It also features an internal memory capable of storing up to 10 years of wave data.
Compact and weatherproof design
The instrument has been specifically developed for buoy installation. It features a compact design and is entirely made of corrosion resistant materials to ensure high resistance in marine environments. Additionally, it requires virtually no maintenance since it is not directly exposed to seawater.
Its high performance and low power consumption make it ideal for all kind of port safety applications and maritime studies.
