Description
Maximum accuracy
The remote precipitation station is designed to monitor precipitation events in all kind of meteorological and early warning applications. It accurately measures the amount of rainfall by means of a self-emptying tipping bucket or weighing rain gauge. It meets the guidelines established by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).
Remote connectivity
The station features a 4G communication system that allows sending data to the Internet from remote locations that do not have their own communication system or staff on site. Additionally, it can be powered from a solar panel and a battery for a total autonomy.
Compact and weatherproof design
The station features a compact design and is entirely made of corrosion resistant materials to ensure high resistance to weathering. The weatherproof enclosure features a double seal to ensure maximum protection of the electronics from dust, moisture and other external agents. The optional heater of the rain gauge is activated automatically at temperatures around 4ºC, preventing the accumulation of ice and snow in the funnel and allowing precise measurements at low temperatures or during and after a snowfall.
