The weather information provided by the new station will allow greater efficiency in the management of the vineyards.
Founded in 1924 in Alt Penedès, a region internationally recognized for the quality of its wines, Recaredo currently has a total of 50 hectares of vineyards cultivated ecologically and biodynamically.
The new station of Recaredo is equipped with sensors for measuring wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity, precipitation, atmospheric pressure and solar and UV radiation. The station also features a system for automated and real-time weather data sending to the Internet. In this way, the Recaredo winegrowers can remotely monitor multiple parameters of the crop, including the sunshine hours, degree-days of heating and cooling and evapotranspiration.
