Description
High performance technology
The evaporimeter allows to measure with high accuracy and reliability the amount of water evaporated in a given time interval. It is specially designed to meet the guidelines established by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).
To determine the evaporation rate, the sensor measures changes in water level inside an evaporation pan. It has an internal mechanism to compensate atmospheric pressure effects on the measurements.
It can be connected to any conventional datalogger to perform the data storage and its subsequent downloading and monitoring on a computer.
Its high performance makes it ideal for all kind of monitoring and research applications in rivers, lakes, reservoirs, dams, etc. Its low power consumption allows to use it in installations powered by solar panels.
Rugged and rustproof design
The sensor has a very rugged design and is entirely made of stainless steel to ensure high resistance to corrosion. The internal circuit is protected against overvoltage and reverse polarity. It includes a 5 meters long cable.
