The real-time data reported by the station and the local weather forecast are already publicly available through the Weathercloud online platform.
Marina Palamós has a new Vantage Pro2 GroWeather station for monitoring the weather conditions at the port. The main sensor suite located at the harbor office measures temperature, humidity, precipitation, atmospheric pressure and solar radiation, while the anemometer installed separately at the port entrance measures wind speed and direction at a height of 10 meters. The entire system is powered by solar energy for total autonomy.
The data is sent via Ethernet to the Weathercloud online platform, allowing port users and visitors to check both the current weather conditions and the local forecast for the present day and for the next six days remotely and in real time from a computer, tablet or smartphone.
