In this year’s edition, the brand introduced AeroCone, a completely redesigned funnel for the Vantage Pro2 rain collector, as well as the new EnviroMonitor station based on Bluetooth nodes.
The new AeroCone increases accuracy in strong wind conditions and features an improved debris screen that locks into place to keep it from falling off or flying out.
The EnviroMonitor is a brand-new agricultural station that sends data directly to the cloud for remote monitoring. The system consists of a gateway that can receive data from a mesh of over 20 different Bluetooth nodes installed throughout the field.
The Weather Summit took place on January 17, 18 and 19 and brought together international distributors from more than 40 countries around the world, which is the largest attendance to date. The event included a factory tour to see how the different sensors are manufactured and tested.
Darrera wants to thank Davis for the great effort in organizing the event and looks forward to the next edition in 2019.
