The new equipment will help improve the control of odor dispersion resulting from the process of decomposition and maturation of organic waste.
The installation of the weather station is aimed to avoid odor impact in the municipalities near the composting plant. For that purpose, the system automatically calculates the atmospheric stability based on the wind, temperature, humidity and solar radiation data.
The new station is also equipped with sensors for measuring precipitation and atmospheric pressure, and features a system for automated and real-time weather data sending to the Internet, which allows for remote monitoring and management by the surveillance personnel of the composting plant.
