Description
Maximum accuracy
The pyranometer accurately measures the global solar radiation incident on the Earth’s surface. It is specially designed to meet the ISO 9060 standard and the guidelines established by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).
Weatherproof design
The instrument is entirely made of corrosion resistant materials to ensure high resistance to weathering. It includes an internal heater to avoid dew and frost formation on the glass dome.
Analog or digital output
It can be connected to any conventional datalogger to perform the data storage and its subsequent downloading and monitoring on a computer.
Optional shadow ring
It suppresses the direct radiation to allow measurements of the diffuse radiation only.
Multitude of applications
Its outstanding versatility makes it ideal for all kind of applications in many fields, the main ones being:
- Atmospheric research.
- Meteorology.
- Solar power plants.
